  • ENGL-120 College Composition and Research = ENGL-C1000 Academic Reading and Writing 
  • ENGL-125 Advanced Composition & Critical Thinking = ENGL C1001 Critical Thinking and Writing 
  • MATH-232 Statistics = STAT-C1000 Introduction to Statistics 
  • POLI-120 Introduction to the Principles of American Government = POLS-C1000 American Government and Politics 
  • PSYC-120 Introduction to Psychology = PSYC-C1000 Introduction to Psychology

Our services are designed to help you succeed in your academic endeavors and they reflect our belief in the importance of positive personal contact. Taking advantage of the many resources available at the college can help you become a better student, and speed your progress towards achieving your educational goals. Students are encouraged to become acquainted with counselors and support staff. It is the smart thing to do!

Napa Valley College Student Affairs services and programs are equity-minded, create a high sense of belonging for students and assist them towards reaching their educational and career goals.

  1. Students can identify barriers to their academic success and identify strategies and necessary services/resources to overcome them.
  2. Students can identify student affairs programs and services that convey a sense of belonging for them.
  3. Students can identify support services appropriate for their academic success.
