Mission & Vision

Our Mission
NVC SHPE will inspire the next generation of STEM students through a welcoming and diverse community. Our community will guide students to achieve academic success and assist them in their professional endeavors.

Our Vision
SHPE's vision is a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians and engineers.

What We Do

Community Outreach
Giving back to the community is important to NVC SHPE. We take pride in our contributions and are always looking for new ways to engage with our neighbors.

Napa High School Engineering Club:
Our members helped establish the school's Engineering club, and regularly visit to take part in and help guide the meetings along. We are currently in works of turning the club into an official SHPE Jr Chapter.

Vallejo High School Engineering Academy:
Some board members currently sit on the VHS Engineering Academy Advisory Board where they help plan engineering related curriculum

Industry Networking
As a chapter we seek to provide our members the opportunity to converse with professional engineers and students looking to enter the STEM fields. Through our events our members are able to seek advice from others relating to their major or field, and increase their network with professionals.
