At the July 9 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board approved the Five-Year Capital Outlay Construction Plan and District Order of Priority as required each year by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office.
Meet 2020 Valedictorians London Legree and Huzaifa Kamran Khawaja
NVC’s Valedictorian Selection Committee selected London Legree and Huzaifa Kamran Khawaja as the 2020 valedictorians. Since Napa Valley College was unable to host a traditional commencement ceremony this year, we videotaped their speeches and shared them on our website.
NVC Celebrates Pride Month
Kyler Thompson, a student at NVC, president of the LGBT Club and a student worker in the Office of Student Life, lead the way for the rainbow flag to be raised on campus in honor of LGBTQ Pride Month in June. The rainbow flag is a symbol of LGBTQ social movements and the colors reflect the diversity of the LGBTQ community.

At the June 11 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board approved the 2019-2020 Educational Master Plan Update and the 2020-2021 Tentative Budget.
Generation Z – Creative Thinkers and Doers
Seniors at American Canyon High School rocked the virtual stage as they competed in the Youth Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition in early June 2020.
