Digital Art & Design
Courses in typography and digital media form the core of the Digital Art and Design program. Digital Art students may choose from courses in photography, film, video, graphic design, and animation, among others.
The Digital Arts program combines problem-solving skills, planning and analysis with solid computer skills and traditional art making to create successful, clear visual communication. Students learn conceptual message development, fundamental theory and receive vocational training.
The new Mac Lab is equipped to handle print, web, and motion production. The Macs are equipped with the full Adobe Creative Suite 4, Corel Painter X, Aperture and Flash. Students have access to printers, cameras and scanners.
Students may pursue an AA or Certificate in Digital Design or prepare for transfer to a college, university or art school.
