Board of Trustees – April 2020
At the April 23 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board approved the 2018-2019 District Audit Report. Dr. Kraft presented the 2019 State of the College report, a community-oriented annual publication intended to highlight some of the College’s accomplishments and celebrate our staff, faculty, students and community partners.
Robert Parker Named Outstanding CFO
Napa Valley College’s asst. superintendent/vice president Bob Parker was named one of the most outstanding CFOs in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal (NBBJ). After several months of gathering nominations and extensive review, the NBBJ selected Bob Parker as one of the Chief Financial Officers to be honored in the North Bay Business Journal’s (NBBJ) 2020 CFO Recognition Awards. He will be honored at a virtual awards event on Friday, August 28 from 10 to 11:30 am.
Board of Trustees – March 2020
At a special March 16 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board considered actions for the mitigation of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on college operations and approved an Emergency Proclamation and Telecommuting Policy.
Board of Trustees – February 2020
At the February 13 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board appointed NVC board member Kyle Iverson to the Napa Valley College Foundation board of directors.
Board of Trustees – January 2020
At the January 23 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board approved the second phase in its pre-development agreement with The Martin Group for the College’s proposed student housing project.
