The Aspen Institute has named Napa Valley College as one of the 150 community colleges eligible to compete for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, one of the nation’s highest awards honoring achievement and performance of America’s community colleges.
MESA Conference Connects Napa Valley College Students with Industry Leaders to Develop the Next Generation of STEM Leaders
Two talented Napa Valley College (NVC) student leaders were hand-picked to attend an invitation-only STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) conference sponsored by MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) on November 5 and 6 at the Hayes Mansion in San Jose, California. Luz Robles, a civil engineering major, and Jorge Alejandre-Martinez, a computer science major, were selected to represent Napa Valley College at the annual student leadership conference.
Napa Valley College Presents Historic LGBT+ Training Course to FBI National Academy
Instructors from the Napa Valley College (NVC) Criminal Justice Training Center traveled to Quantico, Virginia earlier this month to provide the inaugural LGBT+ Awareness for Law Enforcement training to students attending the FBI’s National Academy Program.
