Long-time Napa Resident Evelyn Allen Leaves Estate to Napa Valley College Foundation
Teacher, law student, viticulturist and lifelong learner Evelyn Allen, who began taking classes at Napa Valley College (NVC) in 1944 and continued nearly until she passed away on May 8 at the age of 94, has left her estate to the Napa Valley College Foundation. The announcement was made by Napa Valley College Foundation Executive Director Jessica Thomason.
NVC women’s basketball team picks up first win of Bay Valley Conference season
The Napa Valley College women’s basketball team completed one of the toughest stretches of the 2021-22 season – five games in eight days, including back-to-back games to start the Bay Valley Conference campaign. The Storm will now head into the Christmas and New Year’s holiday break on a very positive note: with a win that snapped a six-game losing skid.
Top-20 state finish for Napa Valley’s Alexis Larsen
Alexis Larsen completed her freshman season of golf for Napa Valley College with a top-20 finish at the California Community College Athletic Association Women’s Golf Championships on Monday.
