Help for Ukraine

We are deeply saddened by the events taking place in Ukraine. Today, I received the email below from the Chancellor and I wholeheartedly agree with and support his statement on the need to support democratic movements in our world and stand strongly against tyranny and oppression.

The Arts are Back at Napa Valley College this Fall

Singing, dancing, acting and playing music are all back at Napa Valley College, with performances and an immersive music festival this summer, followed by a variety of classes and a full-scale musical theater production on the schedule for fall semester.

Celebrate Juneteenth Freedom Day

On June 17, 2021, the President of the United States declared Juneteenth a federal holiday, effective immediately.

WebAdvisor to MyNVC Transition

Napa Valley College is in the process of transitioning the online user experience from WebAdvisor to MyNVC Self-Service. Currently, students access these modules through the WebAdvisor main page. As of the week of May 10, 2021 student access will shift from WebAdvisor to Self-Service directly. During this transition, faculty and staff will still use the WebAdvisor link.

Maria Villagomez Named 2021 Administrative/Confidential Employee of the Year

The Administrative Senate of Napa Valley College has announced Maria Villagomez, senior dean, language arts and developmental studies, library and social sciences, has been selected by her peers as the 2020-21 Administrative/Confidential Employee of the Year. She will be formally recognized at the May 13, 2021 Board of Trustees Meeting.
