Dear High School Official:
On December 11, 2014, for the first time in the college's history, the Napa Valley College Board of Trustees approved the high school waiver of credit enrollment fees for part-time concurrently enrolled students.
What does this mean for high school students who attend Napa Valley College?
It means that the current $46.00 per credit unit enrollment fee is now not charged to students! We hope this decision will encourage more students to take courses at Napa Valley College for college credit. However, The option to take college classes for high school credit still exists.
Please tell your sophomores, juniors, and seniors to take advantage of this first-ever opportunity to take college courses while in high school at a much lower cost.
Please note that all other non-enrollment/general student fees must still be paid. These fees can range from $25.00 to $34.00, based on whether the student is taking 3 units or less or more than 3 units per term. All materials and parking fees must also be paid. Please see the Fees page from our website for a more detailed breakdown of the fees.
In addition, please direct students to use the High School Dual Enrollment form for concurrently enrolled students to register for classes. Also, please note that state compliance requires that all forms have the high school principal's signature, as well as student and parent signatures.
