Class Schedule And Format

We offer courses throughout the year in a variety of formats including traditional face-to-face classes on campus, hybrid classes that meet part time face-to-face and part time online, and fully online classes.  Most classes are 18-weeks in length, but some are offered in an intensive 8-week format.  This variety of offerings supports students and working professionals who wish to earn a certificate or degree.

The following is a sample of a typical schedule of courses for the year.  For the exact schedule for the falll, spring, or summer semester, please consult the official college schedule of classes.

Accelerated Degree Completion Online Program

"ADCOP" is our accelerated degree completion online program with a new schedule of online courses in the Administration of Justice that will enable students to earn a certificate in just 12 months!  You will complete 6 of the 7 required courses in just one year online by taking a series of 8-week courses in summer, fall and spring.  Here is a sample schedule of what the accelerated track looks like.

At least one internship class (ADMJ-190, 191, 290, or 291) is required for the certificate.  Internship classes are scheduled every semester and can be taken during any semester.  Internship classes in the summer required all hours to be completed within 8 weeks.  Internships in the fall and spring can be completed in 18 weeks.

New students can start with ADMJ-120 Introduction to the Administration of Justice on any of the five starts dates available throughout the year (typically two start dates in the fall, two in the spring, and one in the summer).  Check the current schedule of classes for details.

About ADMJ Internship Classes

The Administration of Justice Program offers students four internship classes that can be completed over a two year period (one each semester).  ADMJ-190, 191, 290, and 291 can be taken in any order, but only two sections will be offered each semester.  In the fall, look for ADMJ-190 and 290.  In the spring look for ADMJ-191 and 291.  You can begin with ADMJ-190 or ADMJ-191 at any time they are offered.

Internship classes are hybrid, which means that the majority of work for the class is completed on site with a criminal justice agency.  An in-person orientation during the first week of classes and online work throughout the semester are both required to pass an internship class.
