About Me
I've been a singer since my childhood, and have an AB degree in Musical Technology (Occidental College) and an MS in Scientific Instrumentation / Physics (UCSB.)
I am semi-retired after 17 years with Dolby Laboratories where I led the engineering team that created the Dolby Digital motion picture sound format.
1n 2007, I started a company, Seagrave Instruments (www.seagraveinstruments.com ) to commercialize a method and apparatus for visualizing room acoustics.
I now enjoy teaching part time, running my business, singing with the a cappella groups Flying Without Instruments www.flyingwithoutinstruments and Just Voices http://www.singersmarin.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=77&Itemid=110 and volunteering on the boards of SingersMarin www.singersmarin.org and Voci www.vocisings.com
