If you are a returning student and currently working in the criminal justice field or if you have already completed a basic police academy in California, we encourage you to make an appointment with the Administration of Justice Program Coordinator to see if your basic law enforcement academy class can substitute for one or more of the certificate or degree requirements.
The Basic Police Academy is a separate program and part of the Criminal Justice Training Center at Napa Valley College. If you are looking to enroll in the Basic Police Academy, Corrections Academy, or 9-1-1 Dispatcher Academy, Click Here.
