Policies and procedures address general institutional topics or academic and professional matters included in 10+1. Campus constituent groups (Academic Senate, Administrative Senate, Associated Students, Classified Senate) are afforded 30 days for review and input on documents. At the direction of the board and the recommendation of the ACCJC, the interim superintendent/president is expediting the review and approval of a number of urgent procedures in spring semester 2022. These documents are legally required, advised, or address a current need and are modeled on the recommended language of the CCLC Policy Service. They may include additional language proposed by the NVC academic senate, district legal counsel, or language adapted from other colleges.
