Go to NVC Webpage and CLICK on "ENROLL NOW"
Click on "Complete the Online Application for Admission" and complete the application.
Then, complete the Online Orientation.
Make an appointment with the DSPS Student Services Specialist in Room 1769D on the second floor of the Library and Learning Recource Center (LLRC), orcall 707-256-7345.
Make sure to bring your last IEP, 504 Plan, or other documents that verify your disability.
The DSPS Specialist will make an appointment for you to meet with the DSPS Counselor. The next step is determined based on each individual need.
English and math assessment tests are given at the NVC Testing and Tutoring Center located on the second floor of the Library and Learning Resource Center, room 1764. (Note: Accommodations for placement tests are arranged through prior meeting with DSPS Counselor or LD Specialist.)
You can drop by and take the tests Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Bring identification. Plan three hours for testing. For more information, go to the Testing and Tutoring Center website.
The DSPS Counselor will help you develop an Education Plan to determine the classes in which you should enroll each semester as well as identify your educational limitations and create an Academic Accommodation Plan.
