DSPS provides a variety of accommodations (also referred to as academic adjustments, auxiliary aids, and services) to students with disabilities. Our goal is to provide students the opportunity to participate fully in all aspects of college programs and activities through appropriate and reasonable accommodations.
How to Get Services
Step 1: Apply to NVC.
Step 2: Provide verification of disability in
one of the following forms:
Step 3: Meet with DSPS Counselor or LD Specialist.
provide most recent IEP or 504 Plan, or
provide LD assessment from other institution,
provide medical documentation from a verifiable clinician, or
complete and return

Step 4:Request your semester accommodations (academic adjustments, auxiliary aids and services).
Reminder for NVC DSPS Students: Don't forget to check-in and request your accommodations every semester after you register/enroll in classes!
