Applications are now open for the fall Paramedic Academy at Napa Valley College.
The program is limited to 24 students. The final date for returning the application is April 30.

The Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Program at Napa Valley College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the EMS Professions (CoAEMSP).
Approximate cost is $3500. Students are placed in clinical and internship sites throughout the Bay Area.
Prerequisites for the program include completion of HEOC 100 (anatomy and physiology with a “C” grade or better), a current AHA approved BLS Healthcare Provider card (2010 guidelines), 2000 hours of EMT experience within the last three years, and a current California EMT license/NREMT EMT card.
