The NVC District Auxiliary Services (DAS) Foundation supports key elements of campus life to assist in fulfilling NVC's educational mission and to provide a comfortable community atmosphere for students, faculty, staff, and visitors to enjoy.
Among the programs supported by the DAS are:
Student support services such as the bookstore, campus café and food services, Child Development Center, and the student health center.
NVC Storm Athletics programs
Contract education programs such as the Napa Valley Cooking School, the Viticulture and Winery Technology program, the Napa Valley Writers' Conference, and the Hospitality & Tourism Management program.
Facilities & property management, including rental of NVC facilities and development of district properties.
The NVC DAS was activated in October of 2013. The DAS filed Articles of Incorporation with the State of California and requested a Tax I.D. (EIN) number from the IRS in December of 2013.
On September 22, 2014, the IRS issued a letter of determination affirming that the DAS was a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, effective November 15, 2013.
