Associate Degree in Nursing Program

 

The Associate Degree Program in Nursing (ADN) is a four semester program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN). It is designed to prepare qualified men and women to practice nursing in entry-level positions. Upon completion of the program, the student is awarded an Associate in Science Degree (A.S.) in Nursing and is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN). Opportunities are provided for advanced placement, transfer and challenge exam credit.

  INFORMATION MEETINGS
Please review the program information and bring all of your questions to one of the meetings listed below. If it has been a couple of years since you last attended an Information Meeting and you are ready to submit your application, please feel free to attend another in order to make sure there have been no significant changes to the program or application process since your last meeting.

APPLICATIONS

To receive an application for the ADN program, you are required to attend a mandatory Information Meeting in person.  A list of Information Meeting attendees will be maintained by Admissions & Records and if you have lost your original application, please contact them at (707) 253-3008 for a replacement.

 

 

APPLICATION PERIODS

ADN Program applications will be accepted only during the following application periods. As there is approximately a two-year wait list, you are not applying for a specific semester. If accepted, your name will be added to the wait list .
