UMOJA

COMMUNITY REQUIREMENTS

          All ​students are encouraged to be a part of the Umoja Learning Community​  

 

                                   PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS ​​​​

                                   1) Be a new or current Napa Valley College student.

                                   2) Submit completed Umoja Community application (signed).

                                   3) Complete Photo Release Form.

                                   4) Submit Student Consent Form (read and signed).

                                   5) Participatation in 2 Umoja related courses each semester

                                       (courses​ are CSU/UC transferable).

                                   6) Participate in Intrusive Counseling.         

                                   7) Participation in all events and activities related to Umoja.

                                   8) Be a willing and active learner.

                                   9) Allow your voice and words to be intentional and deliberate.
