Please come and visit the 3D Arts and Ceramics building on the south end of Napa Valley College's main campus. Our program offers a variety of credit classes for anyone interested in 3D Art and ceramics, whatever the students' current level of mastery.
Please feel free to drop in between the hours of 11am -9 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays during Spring and Fall Semesters for a visit and remember; anyone can attend NVC Ceramics classes.
The NVC Ceramics Studio boasts a great variety of kilns, many of which were built by students who enrolled in our Kiln Design class, ARTS 244. Included in this collection are various electric kilns, 2 large indoor gas fired kilns, a small Anagama style wood kiln, a salt kiln and a Raku kiln.
Our clay forming studio is equipped with over 20 potters' wheels, a slab roller, numerous banding wheels and various hand forming tools.

The studio also includes a dedicated plaster casting area as well as a dedicated glaze area. Our dedicated faculty teach all the classes necessary for students to become self-sufficient artists and/or transfer to a Baccalaureate degree awarding institution.
