Please help us congratulate our very own ETS College Advisor VERONICA GOMEZ on being named Napa Valley College Classified Employee of the Month. Please see the official announcement below.
The Classified Senate would like to announce Veronica Gomez as the recipient of the Classified Senate-Employee of the Month award for March 2015.
Veronica works in the TRIO program as a Student Services Specialist.
Ramon Salceda, Veronica’s supervisor, nominated her for the Employee of the Month, and this is what he has to say…
“It is with great pleasure that I nominate Veronica Gomez as the Napa Valley College Classified Professional Employee of the Month. As an integral part of our TRiO Educational Talent Search Program, Veronica ensures that our students are receiving the essential academic advising and assistance needed in order for them to achieve their educational goals. Whether that is assisting them with their college applications, financial aid, letters of recommendations, or any of the other myriad of services she provides, Veronica is dedicated wholeheartedly to our students. Her passion for helping students is evidenced by the way her face lights up with genuine pride and happiness every time a student lets her know that they’ve been accepted to the college/university of their choice, received a scholarship, or achieved any other accomplishments that she has surely played a vital role in.
In addition to doing an amazing job helping students directly, Veronica also finds the time and drive to help our fellow departments and co-workers here at Napa Valley College. She’s continuously helping out with numerous campus activities and events, including Commencement, Mega Orientations, group visits and even birthday parties and baby showers! Veronica goes above and beyond her responsibilities, consistently demonstrating exemplary commitment and contributions to the success of our students and Napa Valley College. Therefore, I highly recommend Veronica for this distinction as she truly embodies Napa Valley College’s values, placing our students first and foremost in everything she does.”
Thank you, Veronica, for going above and beyond at Napa Valley College.
Please, help us in congratulating Veronica!
