Important Reminders  

ELM/EPT Exams for CSU's

The California State University (CSU) requires you to take the English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) exam prior to enrollment in the CSU. Your scores will determine which Math and English courses you should take to begin your career at CSU.

You may be exempt from taking the EPT or ELM based on your scores earned on other appropriate tests such as the CSU's Early Assessment Program (EAP) tests in English and Mathematics, the SAT®, ACT®, or Advanced Placement® (AP).

The cost per test is $18 and must be paid online. For more information please go to https://ept-elm.ets.org

Scholarship Opportunities

 

Napa High School Scholarship Announcements:  

 

IMPORTANT REMINDER

If you completed a Community Scholarship Application in December, it’s time for secondary scholarship applications! Some of the donors in the program require their own application once the school’s application has been submitted. These are paper applications and can be found in the Student Services Office. Please remember to pick them up! They have different due dates, but most are due by February!

  

*Don & Roy Splawn Charitable Foundation, West Scholarship. Criteria: High School Senior; financial need; 2.6 or higher GPA; Employed (paid or not paid); Community Service and Extracurricular Activities. The application is found online only www.fsrquests.com/splawnscholarship2014.  This is a renewable scholarship!

Deadline: TOMORROW, April 15, 2014.

 

*If you were in Head Start as a preschooler there is a great scholarship opportunity for you. See Ms. Mulgrew in the Student Services Office for an application.

Deadline: Friday, April 18, 2014.

 

*Napa 20-30 Club Scholarship. Pick up an application on the counter in Student Services.

Vintage High School Scholarship Opportunity 

Napa Valley Quilters Guild Scholarship

If you plan on pursuing a career in fabric design, fabric construction, fabric art, textiles or any related field stop by the Counseling Office to pick up an application for the Napa Valley Quilters Guild Scholarship. The scholarship amount is for $500.00.

Deadline: April 15, 2014

   

NAPA COUNTY FIREFIGHTERS ASSOC. SAFER GRANT

Volunteer and you could receive up to $5000 per year with a 2.5 year volunteer commitment. Volunteers are needed in Napa County. For more info: go to: www.volunteerfirefighter.org/Napa
