Alert U - Emergency Text Messaging System
NVC is now offering a SMS-based emergency notification service for your mobile phone. In the event of an emergency, NVC students, staff, faculty and others will be alerted in real-time important security information.
Sign up is simple, just send a text message to 253788 (AlertU). In the body of the message, type NVC. After sending the message, you will receive an enrollment message that you must reply to with "Y" to confirm.
While this service is free, your standard message rates may apply. NVC and our partner AlertU will never spam you, nor sell your info to any third party companies.
