Commencement 2011

The Office of Student Service is in charge of staging the college's annual commencement ceremony which is traditionally held on the last Friday of May.  Next year's ceremony will take place on Friday, May 27, 2010.  Graduates from the previous summer and fall semesters, as well as those graduating in the spring, are eligible to attend the ceremony.  The ceremony is usually held on campus in the college gymnasium and approximately 200 graduates participate in the commencement ceremony each year.

Students must petition for degrees by a specified date in the semester prior to the term they anticipate to graduate.  Please refer to the Petitioning for Graduation website for more details.

The 2011 commencement invitation letter and other information will be mailed to graduates in early April 2011.

In addition, students who have applied and been approved for graduation for summer, fall and spring and have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA will be invited to audition to be the Valedictory Speaker at Commencement.  These auditions are traditionally held on the last Thursday or Friday of April in the morning.
