Eligibility and How To Apply

   If you are currently receiving cash benefits from TANF and/or CalWORKs, you may qualify for academic support services through the "CalWORKs" program on campus.  Please contact Maricel Ignacio at (707) 256-7312 or Sonya Wright at (707) 256-7323.

If you are an Emancipated Foster Youth (aging out of the Foster Care system), please contact Bob Lortz at 707-256-7304 to discuss possible academic support services.

General EOPS Eligibility Criteria:

 Are a California resident (confirmed by the NVC Admissions Office)

  • Have completed fewer than 24 degree applicable college units (this does not include ESL or remedial coursework) 
  • Are a full-time student (12 or more units is considered full-time)
  • Are eligible for a BOGG A or B (fee waiver) or have 0 EFC from financial aid
