It is rarely cost-effective to buy a used textbook for this class because used books do not include an Aplia license. The combined cost of a used textbook plus the $70 Aplia fee (Cengage told me today 1/15/13 that this price is $134) is usually greater than buying the bundled version that includes Aplia. If you rent make sure it includes APLIA.
