ONE SECTION OF LRNS 50 IS TAUGHT ONLINE.
The online learning environment offers students the flexibility to learn math anywhere, anytime, any day of the week. This math class is individualized and self paced. It is a variable unit, pass/no pass class that prepares you for future math classes required for an AA/AS degree. Modules include whole numbers fractions, decimals, ratio, proportions and percent, pre-algebra, and geometry and measurement.

Students who are successful in online classes must:
- be motivated, committed and patient
- be good time managers
- be willing to work as hard as when taking an “on campus” class
- know basic computer and Internet skills
Math “on campus” support is also available. LRNS 50 labs are offered during the day and the instructor holds office hours by appointment. There are also math labs offered by the math department during the day and some evenings.
