70 Years of Serving the Community

Napa Valley College is celebrating its 70th anniversary of serving the community and generations of students. Napa Valley College has many student success stories we are happy to share. Commencement 2012 was held in the college gym with 823 degrees
and certificates awarded to 637 students.
The faculty were lead into the ceremony by 2012 McPherson Distinguished Teacher, Professor Andrea Bewick.

The 2012 Valedictory speakers, selected by committee, were Justine Manaid from American Canyon and Mohamad Jarada from Fairfield, above.

California Community Colleges represent the largest system of higher education in the nation, comprised of 72 districts and 112 colleges serving 2.89 million students per year. Community colleges supply workforce training, basic skills education, and prepare students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
