Napa Valley College is offering a late start Business Planning class as part of the new Entrepreneurial Certificate Program. Business 143, Entrepreneurial Business Plan, is a 3 - Unit hybrid course which meets three days at Napa Valley College, October 15, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., November 19, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and December 10, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The remaining course work is completed on-line.
The course we will review the roles of entrepreneurs and small business in today’s economy. Students will learn the man issues and problems of buying or starting a business including, organization and legal structure, staffing, recordkeeping, marketing and financing. The final outcome of the course is completing a written business plan. The course is co-taught by Professors Walt Unti and Beth Pratt.
