GED Testing

The current GED testing schedule is:

The GED costs $150 payable in cash at the time of registration.  Registration must be done in person between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm on the above indicated registration dates. You will need to bring a current government issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, etc.), $150 in cash, and allow about 45 minutes to complete the registration process.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON. If you do not attend the testing session(s) for which you have registered, you will forfeit the money you paid. 

RETAKES: The GED test contains five parts that must all be passed with a score of 410 and an average score of 450.  The GED subtests may be taken a total of three times in a calendar year.  The current 2002 GED series will expire at the end of 2013.  If you do not pass after three attempts, your scores will expire and you will have to start over again with the new 2014 series. Retakes are by appointment and are given 2 times per month.
