Distance Education Committee

About The Committee

The Distance Education Committee was formed in the fall of 2012 as a sub-committee of the Curriculum Committee.  This committee is co-chaired by a member of the faculty and an administrator appointed by the Vice-President of Instruction.

The mission of the Distance Education Committee includes considering all matters specifically related to online instruction.  The purpose of the committee is to identify and recommend best practices for the delivery of online instruction to the Office of Instruction and appropriate Academy Senate committees.  In addition, the committee is responsible for overseeing the on-going training of faculty involved in online instruction.
