Napa Valley College's Voice Department is within the Division of Arts and Humanities and has two facets in its curriculum: individual vocal technique development and group performance opportunities.
The Voice Department offers classes in individual vocal training (Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, Commercial and Musical Theater Voice) and choral performance classes. The students enrolled in these classes perform in concerts and recitals at the college.
All campus students have the opportunity to perform in the College Chorale, women in the Women's Chorale; and audition for the musical theater productions.
Dr. Eve-Anne Wilkes is the Director of Vocal Studies at Napa Valley College, where she teaches voice classes and directs the College and Women's Chorales. Other voice faculty include Vaida Falconbridge and Vicky Van Dewark. Ms. Falconbridge, Ms. Van Dewark and Dr. Wilkes teach voice classes. Dr. Wilkes directs the College and Women's Chorale and also serves as Musical Director for the musical theater productions.
