Health Occupations offers a variety of courses that allow students to learn new skills or earn certificates and degrees. Some of our classes are single classes which may earn you a certificate, and others are complete programs that will earn you an A.S. Degree and make you eligible to take the State Board Examination for Licensure in the State of California.

Marijuana (cannabis) is now legal in California.

You cannot possess it on the campus.
You cannot smoke or vape it on the campus.
You cannot eat or have "edibles" on the campus.
You could be subject to discipline for having or using it on the campus. This applies to both staff and students and includes medical marijuana use.
